HOW TO FACE CRISIS AND WIN
People often ask me, as an Enterpreneur, how do you cope with challenging business climate and the crisis of life.
Your faith would play the most important part in weathering the storms of life. Whether in business or personal life, you can face crisis. So how can you face crisis and win?
The scripture says, "Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. 2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee." (Isaiah 60:1-2)
The verse 2 of this scripture tells you that there will always be crisis but you shall pull through because of the glory of the Lord upon your life.
Alot of successful entrepreneurs can't cope with the crisis of either personal life or business. The news media is often full of stories of successful people who have either committed suicide or ended up in rehabilitation centres because of emotional or physiological breakdown. , The Law of faith can make the difference between winners and losers, especially in times of crisis.
Your faith during crisis will ultimately depend on what you know and believe prior to the crisis. The scripture puts it this way, "So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ" (Romans 10:17 NLT).
Therefore, the Good News is what you need to sustain you both in crisis and out of crisis. For instance, the scripture says in Proverbs 18:21, "The tongue has the power of life and death and those who love it will eat its fruit".
Therefore, what you say when you are facing crisis matters alot because life and death are in the power of your tongue.
So instead of digging your grave with your words, build castles with your words, irrespective of the challenging circumstances. This is called the Law of Creative Speaking.
It is only by saying creative words that you can get your mind to focus on creative solutions that can get you out of the crisis. For instance, the scripture says,"If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go" (Psalm 91:9-11 NLT).
Knowing that God is your refuge and have assigned His angels to protect you, prepares you to face every crisis without fear.
It gets even better when you discover more Good News such as; "You will pray to him, and he will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows to him. You will succeed in whatever you choose to do, and light will shine on the road ahead of you" (Job 22:27-28 NLT).
Therefore, whenever you feel that you are facing the storms of life and the odds are stacked up against you, always remember that God promises to be your refuge and keep you in perfect peace.
