YOUR IDENTITY MATTERS
Choose to live your life by design and not by default.
Those that live life by design understand their purpose and design their daily routine to align with their purpose in life. However, those that live life by default, have not fully grasp their purpose in life but have allowed circumstances to define who they are and what they can become.
Everyone created by God was created to fulfill a unique purpose.
You are what you are today because of your identity; that is how you have labelled and identified yourself through out your life.
You can never excel beyond the your self identity.
Assuming you came from a dysfunctional family and you have accepted that label and allowed your experience to define your life. Then such identity will no doubt brings sorrow, shame, pain, bitterness, and frustrations in your life.
This is not God's desire for your life, so reject it right now! Even if it has been running in your family or business for many generations, It is your responsibility to change it.
"This is what the LORD says: “You will be in Babylon for seventy years. But then I will come and do for you all the good things I have promised, and I will bring you home again. For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:10-11 (NLT).
You can re-write and re-design the story of your life because someone else's opinion of you doesn't have to become your reality.
A lot of people are suffering from a case of mistaken identify, because they have allowed circumstances and other people's opinion to define them.
Think about it, it's during your teenage years that you start to explore who you are and who you're going to become.
At such age, you could easily be distracted and taken a detour towards becoming something you weren't even dreaming about.
But It is not what happens to you in the journey of life that matters but how you respond to it, that matters most.
You can either allow circumstances to destroy or empower you.
There is strength that comes from adversity, so don't give up.
Your name is not failure! you are not poor or worthless.
No body or circumstances can destroy you without your permission.
Always remember it is n't what they label you but what you have accepted that creates your identity and becomes your reality.
