Golden Nuggets Volume1
Any boxer can be knocked down, but only the boxer who refused to be knocked out, wins the fight.
Likewise, in life it's not what happens to you that matters, but how you respond to it that matters the most.
There is no better way to illustrate this point than to refer to the Heavy weight boxing fight between Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz.
Anthony lost unceremoniously to the underdog Ruiz, but responded well in the rematch to regain his Heavyweight title.
Simply put, every champion was once a failure that refused to accept defeat.
My favourite quotes for the day:
"Don't give up and be helpless in times of trouble." Proverbs 24:10 CEV.
"Putting confidence in an unreliable person in times of trouble is like chewing with a broken tooth or walking on a lame foot." Proverbs 25:19 NLT.
"Better to be patient than powerful; better to have self-control than to conquer a city. We may throw the dice, but the Lord determines how they fall." Proverbs 16:32-33 NLT.
"Telling lies about others is as harmful as hitting them with an ax, wounding them with a sword, or shooting them with a sharp arrow." Proverbs 25:18 NLT.
